Luxury Sales
This chart shows the number of million dollar plus homes sold over the past 20+ years. This category dropped just slightly in 2023. The first chart is just in New Hanover County. After being on the rise for several years, the high dollar market dropped a bit in 2016, came back strong in 2017, dropped back again in 2018, and has been going nuts the last several years. Almost all of the highest sales have occured in the last few years, and all of the top ten have occurred since 2021. The top four happened in 2023!
