This chart shows the trends in sales by price category. For example, 7% of total sales were in the under 100k price range. What you can see is that over the last several years, the lower price ranges have been falling off. The middle price ranges, especially 200 - 400k, have been on the rise, and the upper price ranges have been flat. |

This chart shows the homes sales over the past four years by zip code. Every zip code was up or level from 2015 to 2016. Biggest increases in 28401 and 28403. |

Chart 1.4: Total dollar sales volume, past ten years

This chart shows the total sales volume in New Hanover County over the past ten years. The numbers at the bottom may be too small to read, but the graph trend is obvious. The volume peaked in 2005 at 1,827,915,494, and while we aren't quite back there yet, we are getting closer. In 2016 the volume was close to 1.4 billion. |
