Chart 5.1: Land Activity
This chart shows the land sales activity from past ten years. The roller coaster ride of land sales peaked in 2004 at nearly 1000, then dropped steadily to 129 in 2009. Since then it has been on a steady rise, though it did drop in 2013. Prices have fallen slightly for the last several years. Inventory has fallen steadily over the past four years, and bank owned inventory has plummeted.
